Consultant Occupational Therapist
An experienced Occupational Therapist with 20+ years of professional experience, with extensive expertise in paediatric occupational therapy, neurodevelopmental rehabilitation, and neurorehabilitation. She has worked with children presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Her areas of expertise include Sensory Integration Therapy, Oral Placement Therapy, developmental and functional assessments, fine and gross motor development, attention and regulation, and activities of daily living (ADL) training.
She has extensive experience in clinical assessment, intervention planning, goal setting, and parent training, with a family-centred and evidence-informed approach to therapy. She also works collaboratively with developmental paediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, speech-language therapists, special educators, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams to support comprehensive care and continuity of intervention.
Usha Krishnan is a service-oriented Occupational Therapist who believes that every child deserves access to appropriate therapy and developmental support, regardless of their financial circumstances.
With a strong commitment to affordable and accessible rehabilitation, she keeps her therapy charges reasonable and strives to ensure that no child is denied therapy because of financial limitations.
Her approach is centred not only on clinical expertise but also on compassion, accessibility, family support, and the child's overall development. She believes that early intervention and consistent therapeutic support can make a meaningful difference in a child's functional independence, participation, confidence, and quality of life.
